State Track & Field
Boys and girls representing all six classifications of schools come together for an exciting climax to their school year. State Track & Field takes place May 27th and 28th at Wichita State University-Cessna Stadium. Don't miss one of the most thrilling activities sponsored by the KSHSAA.

Summer Leadership Opportunities
Impact the positive, leadership culture at your school with students and advisors attending this summer's Student Council Workshops/Conferences. Three outstanding learning opportunities include the National VISION Conference June 24-26 at Mill Valley HS, the first ever KSHSAA Middle School STUCO Workshop July 9 at Derby North MS, and the 59th Annual KSHSAA STUCO Workshop July 17-22 at ESU. Kyle Doperalski to Join KSHSAA Staff as Assistant Executive Director
TOPEKA, Kan. - The Kansas State High School Activities Association is pleased to announce Kyle Doperalski will join the staff on July 1, 2022, as an Assistant Executive Director. Doperalski was selected in a national search from a strong field of candidates. His primary responsibilities will be administering the activities of cross country, basketball and track & field. Doperalski has served in the athletic department at the University of North Dakota for the past ten years as the Associate Athletic Director for External Operations.

Title IX
Celebrating 50 Years of Title IX
50 Weeks, 50 Stories - Starting June 23rd the KSHSAA will celebrate the 50th year of Title IX, when Congress proclaimed that "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." Kansas has benefited many times over from the inclusion of women and girls in high school activities. The stories to come will highlight the legends and trail blazers that we are so fortunate to have in Kansas.
