***KSHSAA Summer Spirit Camps - are the only camps where member school spirit squads are covered by the KSHSAA catastrophic insurance.

Application Forms (College Camp)
Application forms are available behind the school login on the KSHSAA website. See Athletic Director for School ID and coach’s password. Send the appropriate form (SPR-3 and/or SPR-4) with a $40 deposit per delegate and sponsor to the KSHSAA on or before May 1 (we will accept entries after May 1 if we have availability). Camp reservations will not be guaranteed without receipt of deposit or purchase order. Participant names are to be submitted to the KSHSAA on Roster of Delegates Forms (SPR-5 and/or SPR-6) by May 15. After receiving your application form(s), detailed information will be sent to you regarding registration, daily schedule and campus information.

Send the appropriate form (SPR-3 and/or SPR-4) with a $80 deposit per delegate and sponsor to the KSHSAA on or before May 1. Camp reservations will not be guaranteed without receipt of deposit or purchase order. Participant names and room assignments are to be submitted to the KSHSAA on Roster of Delegates Form (SPR-HC) by May 1. After receiving your application form(s), detailed information will be sent to you regarding registration, daily schedule and hotel information.

Fees
College Camp - The entire residential registration fee of $340 per delegate and sponsor may be submitted with your application. If only a deposit is sent, the final balance will be emailed to athletic directors by the KSHSAA. The fee includes accident/sickness insurance, housing, 9 meals, conference materials, and quality UCA/UDA instructors.

Hotel Topeka at City Center Camp – Pricing is per person, per room.
4 people = $345 each
3 people = $370 each
2 people = $420 each
1 person = $595

Commuter Camp (College Camps Only) - We are offering a commuter camp option for schools who are in close proximity. The entire commuter registration fee of $270 per delegate and sponsor may be submitted with your application. If only a deposit is sent ($40 per participant), the final balance will be emailed to your athletic director by the KSHSAA. The commuter fee includes accident/sickness insurance, conference materials, and quality UCA/UDA instruction. No meals or lodging is included in the commuter camp fee. The commuter option is not available for the Hotel Topeka at City Center camp.

Refund Policy (College Camp) – No refund of $40 deposits (administrative fee). Full refund (less $40) if cancelled before May 15. 50% refund if cancelled between May 15 and two weeks prior to camp start date. No refund if cancelled less than two weeks prior to camp start dates.

Refund Policy (Hotel Topeka at City Center Camp) – No refund of $80 deposits (administrative fee). Full refund (less $80) if cancelled before May 15. 50% refund if cancelled between May 15 and June 19. No refund if cancelled less than 30 days prior to camp start date.

2024 Cheer/Dance Camps
All traditional camps will have "Game Day" instruction. We offer a special tuition reduction for ONE adult coach/sponsor. Discounted coach tuition does not apply for the Hotel Topeka at City Center camp.

0-9 students – full tuition charged
10-19 students – ½ tuition charged
20+ students – no tuition charged

Schools must send qualified adults who are serving as coaches or chaperons with their students to camps. These individuals will be responsible for their students. Each day a special teaching session for coaches and advisors will be conducted by UCA/UDA personnel.

Spirit Safety Meetings are Required
Spirit safety meetings for head spirit coaches/advisors (grades 7-12) will be conducted at all KSHSAA Summer Cheer/Dance Camps and all fall Spirit Spreader Clinics (click on the "Spirit Spreader Clinics" link to the right to find out dates and sites of fall Spirit Spreaders). All head cheer/dance high school and junior high coaches are required to attend a spirit safety meeting in person or online. The online rules meeting and exam will be available from August 19 to October 4. Any head sponsor that does not complete the rules meeting and exam by October 4 will be fined $200.
